Possesses deep understanding of the complete solution offering from requirements, design document, system level block diagrams, Resource estimation, Process simulation, Module selection, Creating complex control systems, Easy configuration of entire system from a dynamic / remote perspective & Risk Analysis. Utilizes knowledge and experience to test using various Equipment used. Shows extensive thought leadership in designing the future systems, software engineering and development associated data acquisition and processing devices on PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) / DCS (Distributed Control System) architecture. Expertise on OPC- UA and KEPWARE framework implemention. Serves as a consultant and engineer for data acquisition devices, sensors and seamless integration with SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) and/or MES system. Trains and supports team members to enable their capabilities and accomplish the department s priorities. Builds and maintains strong relationships with the team and business to ensure collaboration and alignment within and outside of the D&T function. Using knowledge and expertise, solves unique and complex issues, recommends architecture and processes, recommends changes to existing architecture and processes, and also exceptions to architecture, technology, and process standards globally. Helps drive agile and DevOps culture of implementation and product management culture. Other duties as assigned Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent with specialization in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation 8- 10 years of related work experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Familiar with ISO, IEC, and ISA standards related to Industrial Automation such as IEC 61069, IEC 61158 Extensive hands on experience with popular PLCs, SCADA, designing solutions, building systems including sensors, custom hardware, mechanical fixtures and Matlab control system toolbox. Strong knowledge of programing using Ladder Logic or C Working knowledge of TCP/IP, UART, Profibus, OFC and USB etc. Deep understanding and experience in MES methodologies/interfaces, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine and AWS Ability to work in a virtual environment in a global organization and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high- pressure environment Ability to manage multiple priorities with high flexibility and rapid response time Ability to work autonomously in a fast- paced & complex environment with a self- motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with an ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in making decisions and resolving complex problems related to general & technical aspects of the job. Decisions made with in- depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, policies and business practices to achieve results.
