Develop functional requirements for the HOST subsystem based on decomposition of system level requirements.Interface to the Platform (segment) core-team for feature definition, interface definition with other subsystems.Bridge between the clinical science function that defines the workflow and the HOST Subsystem team by translating clinical needs into subsystem requirements and work-packages.Drive prototyping / concept development for new features / functionality working with platform (Systems Engineering, Clinical Science, Physics and Marketing) team.Provide inputs to HOST RoadmapSupport investigation & root cause analysis for defects and impact analysis for RFCs in owned feature areasSupport development team in feature realization & Project manager / integrator in execution & feature integrationSupport verification by reviewing test plan (scoping), test protocols and test resultsPerform requirement analysis for owned feature/ program & provide high-level designSupport project management in estimation, planning, risk management and execution of the work-packages.Responsible for the design meeting the feature requirementsIdentify & drive design FMEA for owned featureEnsure that performance / non-functional requirements are defined and addressed by teamsMentor the junior members of the team on technical aspectsPerforms the role of a specialist by reviewing work productsManages technical communication with suppliers and stakeholdersParticipates in defining and optimizing WoW with cross-functional teams within the global CT R&D organizationTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:12 to 14 years of software development experienceExperience in requirements management & software architecture and design conceptsProven working experience in global, multidiscipline environment.Good knowledge of medical software and imaging with X-ray and CT background being preferableHands on knowledge on SW Application development and requirements management.Good communication skills. Ability to present technical / complex issues to various audiences.Excellent technical writing skills.Proven technical leadership in matrix / global environmentAbility to influence peers and counterparts often in remote locationsStrong abstraction, analytical and problem solving skillsExpertise in object oriented design concepts and interface design.Exposure to healthcare standards (DICOM, HL7 & IHE) and regulations.Exposure to SDLC Phases and SW quality standards and processes (Six-sigma).,
