Job Description

As the Salesforce Engineering Lead on the Bangalore CRM Team, you will lead a team responsible for the architecture, development, and administration of the Xandr Marketplace Salesforce org and its associated integrations. Salesforce is critical to the success of our Sales, Service, and Marketing teams and youll play a key leadership role in leading our India-based development team for one of our most valuable technology assets. The Salesforce Engineering Lead on the Bangalore team is expected to demonstrate strong expertise of the Force.com platform in both a Senior Developer and Architect level responsibilities. This person is also expected to demonstrate leadership for the rest of the Bangalore engineering team and be held accountable for reviewing individual contributors work and providing guidance to help grow the teams capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical and project management expertise across several areas of application development.

• Demonstrate initiative to independently solve problems, research solutions, and evaluate the benefits and disadvantages of possible implementation options.

• Responsible for guiding and reviewing development work for the entire Bangalore engineering team.

• Responsible for mentorship of junior developers and assisting their professional development.

• Design and promotion of effective Apex testing strategies, among other Quality Assurance efforts.

• Responsible for translating functional business requirements into detailed technical solutions that integrate effectively into the overall application architecture.

• Hands-on development of Apex, Lightning web component, and REST API programmatic solutions.

• Manage source control activities through Git version control and Salesforce DX (SFDX) command-line operations.

• Troubleshoot production bugs based on user-reported issues and/or system errors.

• Communicate effectively and clearly, both in writing and verbally, when collaborating with client business stakeholders or engineering teammates.

• Work effectively within the Agile project lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for application optimization, redesign, or development within the platform that will support business units and/or Engineering Enablement initiatives

• MuleSoft Developer or Architect certifications (any)

• 6+ years of advanced-level development architecture design on the Force.com platform, with a strong emphasis on Lightning development, Apex frameworks, and scalable solution design.

• 10+ years combined experience in Software Engineering, Salesforce Development / Architecture, or related technical field.

• Experience using Git version control system and source-code repositories (ie- Bitbucket, GitHub).

• Strong command of Salesforce best practices and decision making when evaluating Standard vs Custom solutions.

• Hands-on experience developing Lightning web components (Lwc) and associated web development skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).

• Implementation experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud.

• Experience leading junior developers through solution decision making, code reviews, and deployment processes.

• Experience with Agile methodology and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with client stakeholders and engineering teammates.

• Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and communicate project statuses.

• Onsite-Offshore model working experience

• Flexible to work in 1 to 10PM IST work timings
