Position - Sr Engineer Material Management Location : Bommasandra, Bangalore Summarizing the main objectives of the Position Responsible to effectively manage all aspects of production planning, material planning and control. Assist with production specifications and requirements to make production schedules, material requirements lists, and production plans for the manufacture of products, check and organize production activities to ensure materials are available in the quantity to meet production requirements and to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. To control the optimized inventory levels, supplier order management. Key Accountabilities Arrange and modify production plans and schedules according to production capacity and delivery requirement. Distribute production plans and tasks to teams to ensure that plans and tasks are achieved in production unit. Review and ensure materials availability for timely release of production plans and orders. Reschedule and fine-tune production plans in accordance to order changes and urgent situations. Production management by providing information of problem solving due to order changes, materials status, capacity problems and so on. Make production capacity planning analysis and balance production capacity for each team by rescheduling production plans Review and control of production plan Vs actual situation Supplier order Management, schedule management and capacity management. Delivery performance control Professional Knowledge and Experiences 1. Minimum 5 yrs of production planning, supplier interaction & inventory control experience 2. Strong technical and manufacturing knowledge. 3. Expertise in Production Planning & Scheduling, Material planning & Inventory Control with a good knowledge in SAP (PP & MM Module). 4. Thorough knowledge of SAP PP & MM module . 5. Technical Understanding of SAP data processes. 6. 5 - 7yrs of relevant business experience including 3 years of experience in production planning department 7. Team Management experience Language English (good knowledge), read, write with complete fluency. Educational Background Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical 5 - 7 years experience ,
