Job Description

    Job Title: Java DeveloperLocation: BangaloreEducational Qualification:
    • Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
    Experience:
    • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Java Development.
    Essential Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java programming language.
    • Experience with PL/SQL programming.
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL and Database Management.
    • Fluency in J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Struts 2/Spring framework, Hibernate, JQuery, Tomcat.
    • Familiarity with Linux development environment.
    • Understanding of modern software practices including version control, bug tracking, design patterns, refactoring, and risk analysis.
    Roles and Responsibilities:The Java Developer is responsible for application development, modification, and enhancement. This includes participation in the entire system development life cycle from collecting user requirements to system development, testing, and maintenance. The developer will collaborate with the Hong Kong development team to gather and document reporting requirements to meet business needs.Tasks to be performed:
    • Receive and complete user requirements.
    • Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL programming.
    • Work on projects or modules of projects.
    • Application development, maintenance, and support.
    • Work on COFITIL tickets.
    Systems/Tools to be used:
    • LCS
    • Group Applications
    • COFITIL
    Technical Competencies & Personal Traits:
    • Programming/scripting experience and knowledge of the software development life cycle is preferred.
    • Requires analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
    Skill Set:
