Job Description

What were looking for:You are an experienced leader with software engineering background and have worked across multiple products to establish unified Operations organization. You have managed and mentored team/s of engineers on day-to-day duties and have worked with leadership teams on strategic initiatives.Position OverviewTo lead the Citrix Unified Cloud Engineering team responsible for 24x7 global delivery of Citrix Cloud services. You would also provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure and optimize Cloud services. Drive improvements in technical architecture and standards/process to deliver the best customer experience.Role Responsibilities

  • You will work across Product and Support teams to ensure Citrix Cloud meets service reliability, uptime SLA, and cost optimization goals.
  • Manage a team of Engineers and establish best-practices and SOP on operations activities such as incident management, deployment, monitoring, automation, backups and D/R.
  • Drive architectural/technical service improvements
  • You will engage with AWS/AZ periodically to integrate new services
Basic Qualifications
  • You would have hands on engineering experience in Cloud Services delivery (Preferably Public or Hybrid )
  • You would have managed a team directly or through other managers for at least 3 years
  • Good grasp and working knowledge of an object oriented programming language
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Operations and DevOps
  • Experience with operational services , such as Deployment, Incident Management, Automation etc.
