Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Work closely with Product Owners and Lead Scientist to understand the requirements
Hypothesize, theorize, model and code them into the respective engineering software in a timely manner
Apply theories, principles and practices to the research and development of new and improved engineering models.
Contribute inventions, novel designs or techniques which are of material significance in the solution of important problems.
Patents, publications, and presentations are important, required contributions
Participates in professional societies
Work in a Multi-Disciplinary team environment (engineering, science teams)
Foster Relationships through Leadership and Communication Skills
Basic Qualifications:
BE or ME or MS degree in Engineering required. PhD in engineering degree is preferred.
Total Years of Experience:
A minimum of 2 years research experience preferred but not required
Desired/Preferred Expertise:
Specialization in solid and/or fluid mechanics
Proficiency with programming (Fortran, Python, C/C++)
