- Directs resourcing of value consultants based on sales needs (customer or prospect specifications) for optimal sale success. - Tracks/executes/measures consultant skills and establishes improvement plans. - Conducts on-site observations of each subordinate consultant for skill evaluation. - Researches (both internally and externally) market in order to proactively target new skill sets, training requirements and tools needed by subordinates. - Regularly meets with sales management to maximize presales assistance and assignments. - Responsible for work load balance among subordinates. - Frequently interacts with functional peer groups: interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others or to conduct presentations of information concerning specific projects or schedules. - Provide/Coordinate new presales rep training in the field - around topics such as; product training, industry training, ROI/value training, etc. - Recruit, hire, and retain presales consultants. - Serve as escalation point for issues within immediate area. - Help determine the qualification level and strategy of prospective deals. - Frequent two-way interaction with industry marketing - collaborating on market direction and developing specific messaging/programs for vertical - Interface with Product Management describing/documenting the business and functional needs of various users in the vertical and sub-market segments.
Qualifications
- Prior management experience is preferred for this position including conducting performance reviews, hiring/termination, and employee motivation. - Minimum of 10-15 years of value consulting related experience including 10-12 years of industry experience. - Candidates should possess an understanding of the consultative sales cycle and sales techniques - Must also have an understanding of general consulting processes - Requires particularly strong presentation (either in person or remote) skills knowledge, along with excellent writing skills. - Experience in the Workforce Management field is required. - Experience with Corporate Visions or similar business presentation classes is a plus. - This person can work from any city nationally. #LI-JF1 ,Keyskills :
