The worlds brightest technology minds come to Amazon.com to research and develop technology that improves the lives of shoppers and sellers around the world.About the RoleProduct ManagementWe are looking for a Senior Product Manager, who will drive Amazon Indias Easy Ship & MFN Fulfillment Channels strategy. In this role, you will:1. Build product capabilities to make sellers of all sizes and operational capabilities successful on Easy Ship programs. We have sellers with varying order volume, sophistication and fulfillment capabilities2. Work across multiple customer and seller teams to deliver the new product/service in a timely fashion. Success in delivering this includes the ability to hold successful working backwards reviews with senior leaders to create and align on new product visions, implementing it by building new services and influencing technology leaders across the company and Sales, Category, Seller Experience, Seller Enablement and Seller Marketing teams3. Responsible for solving difficult problems that do not have obvious solutions. The PM also needs to continuously iterate to improve already launched products/features.4. Maintain a global and local focus - working across Amazon while walking in the shoes of sellers and customers at a country level to ensure we only launch great experiences. To that effect, the leader is responsible for driving key India-led innovations taking into account the sophistication level of sellers in India, and the fulfillment capabilities available to them. In addition, from a product perspective, the PM needs to extensively work with global teams in prioritizing features for India (both parity and India-first) and with local tech leaders to launch India specific features.5. Prioritize decisions and conduct tradeoffs for the portfolio of products, envision long term strategies and detail them in clear business requirement documents. Work with development teams to take them live, maintain bug logs and track post launch customer feedback and product usage.6. Responsible for the GTM of the programs/products, working with online/offline marketing teams to scale program adoption, defining seller policies and identify/track abusive or fraudulent activities within the program and work with the respective teams to reduce it as far as possible.The position is located in Bangalore, India, and reports into Seller Services Leadership., B-Tech in Computer Science and MBA from a Top Business School preferred 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an engineering environment. Track record of successfully delivering projects on time, to scope, with high quality. Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across many disciplines. Maturity, judgment, and proven ability to build strong relationships, and lead and influence others. Independently driven, resourceful, and able to deliver results with minimal direction. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with developers, business owners, and senior business leaders. High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive. * Strong strategic aptitude; proven ability to define a winning business strategy and product roadmap* Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly, customer-facing features* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold vision* Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis* Implementation orientation; demonstrated ability to translate strategic differentiators into innovative and detailed product requirements* Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members* Proven ability to make smart feature (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offsExperience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value* Nimbleness and comfort with ambiguity; a track record of responding quickly to rapidly evolving threats and opportunities* Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment* Street smarts; willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals* Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence versus direct management; excellent interpersonal skills* Proven leadership ability; demonstrated competence in leading a team to achieve aggressive goals
