    Role Summary/Purpose:
      The Sr Systems Administration Engineer will concentrate on the design & implementation of infrastructure and operations. A driver to help focus on the critical evaluation & selection of software & hardware components of the infrastructure, cloud providers, cloud monitoring, deployment & provisioning tools. Responsible for resolving incidents, fulfilling complicated requests, & implementing wide sweeping changes. A self-driven individual in an environment that will not micro-manage daily duties.
    Essential Responsibilities:
        Provides technical leadership and operational support for planned releases, incidents, and issue resolution.
        Provides impact assessment and mitigation plan for changes going into the production environment.
        Drives continuous improvement of computer operational activities to maximize efficiency.
        Develops automated solutions to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption.
        Develops automated solutions to eliminate common or repetitive tasks.
        Leverages monitoring tools to resolve problems and identify systematic issues with the design and architecture of affected system(s)
        Assists with development of availability measures that align with consumer experience to accurately assess the usability of crucial services.
        Possesses extensive experience and demonstrated mastery with multiple scripting languages.
      Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    Qualifications/Requirements:
        Degree Requirements: Bachelors Degree
        Minimum Years of Experience: 3
        Education in: Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
        Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
        In-depth knowledge of operating systems (processes, threads, concurrency issues, locks, mutexes, semaphores, monitors and how they work).
        Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
      In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, designs and principles with the ability to implement in a cloud environment.
