Sr Technical Consultant, Salesforce Platform & Community Cloud

Job Description

This is a technical architecture and implementation position consisting of both hands-on working knowledge of the Salesforce Platform, Salesforce Community Cloud, and/or Salesforce Knowledge expertise. We are also looking for someone that has experience implementing these solutions integrated with an Enterprise Search technology platform, we are currently leveraging Coveo. This person will also support external enablement and internal collateral development and curation of IP and Best Practices of utilizing and maintaining these toolsets. In this role, you will assist in the architecture, implementation, enhancement, cultivation, engagement, and management of MuleSoft delivery best practices and standards tools from the ground up by setting up a refresh of our existing Confluence-based tools with Salesforce Knowledge, Salesforce Community Cloud and Salesforce Reporting technologies such as Einstein Analytics. You will also provide enablement on these delivery toolsets to ensure that MuleSoft partners and customers are successful building and leveraging the Anypoint Platform.You will be an influencer and thought leader with in-depth Salesforce technical expertise, credibility, and field experience to establish yourself as a subject-matter expert around portals, content management, enterprise search, reporting and enablement capabilities.What you ll achieve: 3 months:

• Participate in MuleSoft Services training for delivery methodology enablement
• Participate in Salesforce Technical Product training and overviews as required, including Enterprise Search toolset capability training.
• Begin participation in field activities with customers and partners by shadowing seasoned GAS architects and practicing enablement processes
• Shadow GAS Architect on existing technology stacks and administration process while architecting and implementing new Salesforce technologies and Coveo Enterprise Search
• Begin to execute Mulesoft enablement best practices for customers and partners by starting on your journey to internalize delivery best practices and IP relevant to MuleSoft implementation methodologies and approaches, along with our toolsets
• Start on your journey to internalize MuleSoft Catalyst implementation methodologies and approaches
• Complete MuleSoft and Salesforce technical certifications if required and fully ramp on new and existing technology stacks
• Start to contribute subject-matter expertise and project deliverables to architects to review for incorporation into the internal knowledge hub around Salesforce technologies and Enterprise search.

12 months:

• Implement the uplift of old Confluence-based knowledge hub tool consisting of content management, knowledge repository, WiKi, and enterprise search capabilities
• Evangelize frameworks, project deliverables, best practices/policies and implementations through internal tool collaboration networks and IP sharing workshops and webinars, along with gamification of contributions internally/externally
• Internalize frameworks, project deliverables, best practices/policies and implementations and vet with Senior Architects to contribute to internal collaboration networks and IP sharing
• Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout project experiences in the field and contribute to developing and implementing internal mitigation measures to meet customer needs
• Facilitate and lead technical brown bag sessions, webinars and information sessions around knowledge hub tools while publishing reusable content to the field
• Deliver compelling presentations, architectural blueprint documents, and requirements-gathering workshops to influence the strategic direction of our projects and lead customers through solution design

What you ll need to be successful:

• Three to six years minimum hands-on development experience on Salesforce solutions
• Hands-on implementation experience with at least one of the following:
  • Salesforce Knowledge
  • Salesforce Community Cloud
  • Salesforce Core
  • Coveo Enterprise Search
  • Administration of one or more on-premise/SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions such as Enterprise Search, Content Management System, SaaS based solution
• Demonstrated experience implementing multiple technical project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams
• Contribution of technical IP to internal initiatives to enrich services organization best practices
• Working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure and cloud-based deployments and configurations along with monitoring and management
• Experience in completing technical design documentation and technical reference materials for client/internal consumption
• Exceptional public communication and presentation skills- have a mind of a developer and a heart of a teacher
• Ability to work across variable time-zones to support Global needs
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (varies depending on customer needs, focused within Region)
• Active Salesforce certifications would be a big plus
