We re backed with $60M Series-B funding from top-tier VC firms Menlo Ventures, IVP, GV (formerly Google Ventures), and ServiceNow Ventures.Position SummaryWe are looking for a Technical Writer who can create and manage high quality content targeted to a variety of audiences including developers, DevOps, and management. Content topics range from technical implementation guides to product features guides to software deployment and configuration best practices.Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and manage content for both internal and external audiences across multiple channels. This includes customer-facing help content, internal knowledge base, developer documentation, etc.
  • Work closely with Support Engineers, Sales Engineers and Customer Success to identify content gaps and improvement areas.
  • Interact with Product Managers, R&D Engineers, and Product Marketing on content for new product releases.
  • Own release notes and new features announcements.
  • Lead the self-serve new user onboarding. This includes wizards, in-app content, videos, etc.
  • Champion internal training materials for new and existing employees
  • Ensure Harness goes above and beyond to consistently deliver a delightful support experience in our support portal
About You
    • 5+ years as a technical writer for a technical, software solution.
    • Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment based on the needs of internal teams and customers.
    • Track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with Product Managers, R&D and customer facing teams.
