We are looking for a Senior Software engineer with strong experience in building complex and scalable services in Java with NoSQL DB. Responsibilities would include architectural design, data modelling, application development, integration and support. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Qualifications:Strong object-oriented software design and development skills.Ability to independently architect, design and develop Java/ J2EE based software systemsSolid understanding of NoSQL concepts. Experience with Cassandra, Mongo and Redis is desired.Solid understanding of Networking concepts (routing, switching and layer 4-7 protocols) .Strong experience in UNIX required, including command line editors, scripting (shell, Ansible, Perl, etc.) Experience with a variety of file formats (XML, JSON, unstructured data, etc.) Good understanding on virtualizations, load balancers, AWS features would be a plus.Excellent analytical, communications (verbal / written) and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated and strong team player skills. Job Responsibilities:Design, prototype, analyze and implement scalable solutions using Java and NoSQL DB for Extreme Cloud Product.Design and implement solutions that enhance usability, reliability, and performance of the product.Troubleshoot system/ network level issues.Software installation, configuration and upgrades.Collaborate in a friendly and energetic manner with other stake holders (e.g., Product Manager) , gather the requirements and drive the feature design.,
