Job Description

*Caterpillars Excavation Division team within the Global Finance Services Division is seeking an Accountable Staff Accountant II / Senior Staff Accountant I in AP region. The role will effectively support the EXD Consolidation team on regional OPACC reporting.Reporting to the EXD Accountable reporting team Accounting Manager, this position is primarily responsible for the following key functions:

  • Quarterly regional OPACC analysis and reporting
  • Monthly Variable Margin analysis
  • MECP analysis and reporting
  • Communication of results to EXD leadership
  • Support ad hoc reporting and special projects
Job duties include:
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of Caterpillar s business and accounting practices, systems and procedures
  • Apply and provide guidance on accounting issues
  • Resolve issues independently
, *Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting
  • 5-10 years of progressively responsible accounting related experience
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
  • Strong experience with the Caterpillar accountable framework and methodology
  • Deliver unbiased and independent judgement on various cost analyses
  • Strong time and project management skills with a high level of initiative, leadership and business acumen
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including experience with communicating with senior leaders
