Job Description

    Monitors, escalates, and re-mediate NAS & SAN device/application {access, performance, events} alerts to identify/ potential incidents.Provide storage provisioning for NAS/CAS/SAN systems.Providing level three DAS, SAN, NAS Configuring and administering support and expertise as it relates to the storage environment as needed.Implement, maintain, monitor, performance tuning and upgrade Network Attached Storage (NAS) environment.Storage Array/NAS Performance TuningRequires expertise with the design, configuration, and administration, tuning, optimizing and troubleshooting for NFS/CIFS protocol on NetApp and EMC Isilon storage arraysUnderstand and troubleshoot the SMB, NFS and CIFS shares networking protocolsPlay a key role in Business Continuity Planning and DR strategy, ensuring our designs are considered by using NetApp SnapMirror and Snapshot plus Isilon SyncIQ and SnapshotIQ technologyPerform change management and incident management for enterprise storage systemsDevelop an understanding of project engagement processes (Service Readiness) and partner with project teams on Conditions of Satisfaction deliverables including support documentationDevelopment and maintenance of backup and storage standards, procedures, policies, securityHands on technical review and engineeringResolving drive status and clean up drive mappingParticipates in design & deployment of storage requirements for enterprise applicationsProvisions new LUNsMonitors and administers installed EMC CLARiiON and VNX & any other storage technologies.Day-to-day support, administration, engineering and planning for the Storage environment in three or more Data Centers including but is not limited to four enclavesStorage monitoring, prevising, configuration and patching management, and ongoing maintenance and support of the storage enterprise in multiple datacenters Dell EMC, QNAP, NetApp, HP,
