Job Category: MaterialsPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSupply Chain EngineerJob DescriptionAs a Supply Chain Engineer in the Global Supply Chain (GSC) team, you will be a full business partner vested in making the GSC Vision and Mission a reality. You will be working with Internal Technology Development partners and Intel supplier factories to enable new product introduction (NPI) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) solutions for system products and components. You will work with external suppliers to define requirements and hold suppliers accountable for their manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield and manufacturability requirements.A successful candidate responsibilities may include:1. Lead supply chain engineering activities for the manufacturing program by interfacing with BU program teams, engineering, test development etc.2. Developing/leading engineering solutions to meet or exceed quality, reliability, availability, yield and productivity goals.3. Design for Cost by discussing with suppliers and identifying innovative solutions Establishing process for Sustaining Operations4. Component and system build qualification and supplier site certification planning, ensure supplier OQC requirements set up and alignment to ODM IQC5. Enable knowledge transfer of manufacturing operations from mature supplier ecosystems to new manufacturing geos.A successful candidate will demonstrate:1. Ability to understand component and system level requirements of upcoming platforms and programs.2. Ability to plan and execute the manufacturing support programs for NPI, Validation and High Volume Manufacturing stages.3. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes for one or more of the following - electronic components, power supplies, electro mechanicals, chassis, cables & connectors, battery, display etc.4. Should be experienced in manufacturing process Problem solving & Analytical skills5. Ability to work in a dynamic, results and team oriented environment Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to create presentations that are accurate, articulate and succinct Ability to understand and streamline technical and business processes6. Knowledge of the Indian Electronics Manufacturing Services ecosystemQualifications1. Must have a B.Tech/BS, MS degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with min 12 years of experience on Electronics manufacturing processes.2. Candidates with advanced degrees or PhD in material science, chemical, physics, Electrical Engineering or Physics, with an emphasis in Physics of Semiconductor Materials or Devices with 10+ years of experience will also be suitable.3. Knowledge of Design of Experiments, Statistics, Test Process Flow in Electronics component manufacturing and/or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operations.4. Understanding of System and Hardware development Life Cycle, Test Programs, NPI and HVM Testing processes5. Experience of working in Electronics manufacturing factories or Managing 3rd party manufacturing sites will be highly preferred.6.
