  • Setup messaging platform for EDMI on Solace, Build, test and release messaging patterns.
  • Work closely with Product Owner and delivery teams to define work items, plan, estimate and sign-up for the support
  • Manage own work priorities, deadlines and deliverables fulfilling your commitments to Product Owner and fellow team members
  • Understand the capabilities across API Management Platform and Ecosystem stack with end-to-end ownership
  • Work closely with core engineering team to define work items, plan, estimate and sign-up for the support

  • Adhere to the quality standards and ensure your work is done to the highest possible quality

  • Primarily responsibility is support the production system on a daily and shifting basis
  • Stability of the production system is the key responsibility
  • Identify recurring technical issues to the relevant Dev team through proper escalation to maintain the stability and integrity of the environment
  • Adhere to the quality standards, change reviews to ensure performance and service integrity is maintained
  • Responsible managing and ensuring successful end-to-end deliveries in the assigned tasks, while complying with the organizational quality standards and goals
  • Keep management well-informed on a timely basis of progress, status and/or concerns for each assignment
  • Understanding application system, architecture, business functionality
  • Responsible for problem management & change management, SRE tasks
  • Interact with business, vendor and other support teams
  • Involve in project enhancement, testing and implementation activities
  • Responsible for route cause analysis and post-mortem for critical issues
  • Pro-Active recognition of issues with stakeholders, managing escalations where required
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Good knowledge in server-side Java with expertise understanding integration solutions with web services and messaging using platforms like webMethods
  • Good knowledge of distributed systems, APIs and protocols (HTTP, AMQP, JMS, MQ, SOAP) and experience developing resilient mission-critical systems
  • Excellent understanding of good messaging practices and experience applying them in your work
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills, preferably in agile and lean environments
  • Knowledge in webMethods 9.5 and later with experience of JMS, in Broker, Solace or UniversalMessaging
  • Good to have MQ /ActiveMQ /RabbitMQ understanding
  • Good understanding Messaging concepts- Guaranteed Delivery ,Duplicate delivery check, message correlation, Ack-Nack etc.
  • Experience in Installation (server and product patches/fixes), development, debugging, analysis, testing, monitoring, production release, cutover
  • Good to have knowledge in Devops, deployment for CI/CD, Agile(SCRUM, Kanban)
  • Good communication skills- expected to coordinate within bank business teams for requirement gathering, status reporting. Also coordinate with vendors such as Software AG, Database, Network,OperatingSystem, Loadbalancing
  • Understanding of different message types- XML, SOAP, JSON,JMS,REST
  • Experience with infrastructure, security, scaling, support, troubleshooting, monitoring, alerts, messaging patterns, integration patterns, API , cloud,SOA, microservices principles
  • Good to have experience with below
    • protocols- AMQP, HTTP,HTTPS, SSL,TLS, FTP,SFTP
    • Languages-Java
    • OS-RedHat Linux
    • webMethods IntegrationServer,Broker,Solace,Adapters, write custom java services, API gateway
    • Adapters-MQ, JDBC
    • eStandards-SWIFT, IFX
    • Tools-Designer, Eclipse or similar IDE for java, SoapUI, testing tools, Jenkins, GIT, SVN, Springboot,Prometheus, Grafana,Microservices container,Elastic stack
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Able to work in a multi-cultural and multi-site environment across different time zones
  • Have good technical understanding on infrastructure and application environments
  • Quality management, ITIL standards and framework, Remedy / BMC tools
  • Ability to deliver consistent results under pressure
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks
  • Well versed in policy/procedures of Incident/Change/Problem Management.
