Job Description

Cyber SecurityThe Cyber Security team is responsible to protect Nokia critical data. We define the security operating procedures and the security baselines. We also define the security architecture in close cooperation with the Enterprise Architecture team.The final accountability to protect data assets and accept security risks is with the data owner in the business. The Cyber Security team provides support to them to achieve compliance and select suppliers, and architectures that are secure by design.We assess proposed IT solutions, detect security gaps and issues, evaluate the risks for the company and propose solutions to mitigate or remediate those risks.The Cyber Security team works together closely with the IT teams, and participates in the governance of the IT suppliers. This to guarantee the quality of the security services that are delivered to Nokia.Finally, as no environment is fully secure, the team also builds the proper security incident capabilities, based on big data analytics to collect and process security information from the entire Nokia environment. The team is also responsible for the resolution of these incidents, and drives the subsequent remediation.Cyber Security acts in an environment which is rapidly evolving from traditional IT to digital cloud-based. Developments are agile, in a variety of DevOps structures. So an in depth understanding of these technologies and development methodologies is essential.Specific Role DescriptionCyber Security SW Engineer for BG Security - Specific Role Description:As a Cyber Security SW Engineer you work closely with the business stakeholders to design and build methods to enhance their security posture, mainly in the area of BG security. You enjoy working on a wide variety of security solutions and technology stacks.Key Responsibilities:The Cyber Security SW Engineer is accountable for recommending solutions and giving guidance & support to ensure Nokia information is protected in line with the Nokia Information Security Policy. This should be done in a cost effective and innovative way bringing value to the BG teams & IT teams through simplification, standardization and homogenization.Key accountabilities include:

• Drive the Cyber Security automation software development lifecycle; defining, prioritizing, designing, implementing, and testing new features
• Define or assist in definition of strategy for the evolution of technical security solutions (technology choices, architecture)
• Architect, design and implement scalable technical security solutions
• Develop or implement open-source/third-party tools to assist in detection, prevention, analysis and mitigation of security threats
• Design and build proof of concept prototype solutions
• Validate security controls proposed by the BG teams and IT or Nokia suppliers
• Understand and help improve the actual security posture of the business stakeholders

Skill Requirements:

• Strong technology insight with a full appreciation of how technology can enable positive business change
• Strong understanding of software development methods, methodologies and technology
• Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong expertise with shell scripting and/or Python programming
• Strong expertise with database application development for SQL databases
• Experience with developing reporting applications (preferably in Power BI) is a plus
• Knowledge of and experience with AI/ML is a plus
• TCP/IP networking knowledge
• Ability to convey technical security concepts to non-technical audience
