We are there for our customers come join us!We re looking for a Software QA Engineer to join the File System QA team at HPE/ Nimble Storage. This is a perfect position for someone who is passionate about using the latest technologies and best practices to build the next generation Storage System that is scalable and best-in-class.Responsibilities

• Work on designing and implementing automated tests to test the File System and Data Services functionality on storage products
• Work with technical leaders and architects to understand new product requirements
• Understand, participate, provide inputs to Dev for functional and design specs and other design documentation.
• Own the test specification, test strategy, test planning and automation for the file system features.
• Plan, design, test and automate Data path software to maintain the stability reliability and Availability of Storage system.
• Provide guidance to management and participate in technical communication with customers
• Manage and expand relationships with other QA partners on software systems test and automation.

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 4-6 years of experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• Strong automation background, preferable in Python.
• Prior experience in the following is a huge plus:
• Understanding of Filesystems and/OR System Software.
• Prior Storage domain testing experience
• Ability to write clear and articulate functional and test specifications.
• Experience in IO generating tools and benchmarks. Familiar with different IO patterns/storage tests and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and take on a variety of roles as needed
• Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
