This position is targeted for a technology lead in information security with extensive software engineering and development, governance, compliance, and security experience and a proven track record of identifying inadequacies, developing enabling solutions, and leading large-scale projects and initiatives.Qualifications:8 -10 +yrs of relevant experiencePreferably a degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fieldsDeep understanding of Internet security issues and the threat landscapeStrong, well-rounded background in host, application security and networkUnderstanding security fundamentals and common vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top Ten)Familiarity with web/mobile technology and web/mobile security, as well as popular protocolsSolid understanding of application security enabling technologies across the development lifecycleResponsibilities:Analyze, fix, investigate security-related threats based on security platform reporting, network traffic, log files, host-based and automated security alertsDesign system security architecture and develop a detailed security designEvaluate systems using automated scanners and manual techniquesMaintain and update relevant security systems and process documentation, apart from developing ad-hoc reports as neededDevelop security tools and solutions for automation and security vulnerability mitigationCommunicate assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security improvementBuild an end-to-end Information Security Aware Engineering podDevelop and maintain agile Security Best Practices (OWASP)Implement and fine-tune various Web Application Firewalls making them Application OWASP awareTechnical SkillsSecurity engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, applied cryptography, and application security Linux based operating systems.Good Understanding and Hands-on HTTP as a Protocol NetworkingExcellent skills on TCP/IP, SSL, Port Mapping, Scripting Skills - Bash, Shell, Python preferable Load Balancers.Understanding of commercial solutions like AWS ELB/ALB is a plus Good understanding and implementation skills of Commercial/ Open Source HTTP/Web Application Firewalls using NGINXAt Swiggy, we never stop searching for innovative ways to put our consumers first, provide opportunities for our partners and employees alike, and nurture our business.
