Job Description

System Administrator to join our team in Bangalore , Karn taka (IN-KA) , India (IN) .

Resolve the majority of complex configuration problems by troubleshooting and simulation.

Redhat Linux:

  • Create, modify and monitor Linux/Unix Shell Scripts/Cronjobs/Runners as per project requirement[Mandatory]
  • Must have expertise on OS internals on Red-hat Linux 6,7.
  • Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels
  • Familiar with the configuration and maintenance of server and network hardware and peripherals
  • Hands on experience on Capacity planning, VG/LV/FS extend/reduce, User management, File system management.
  • Patch management in distributed Linux operating system and AIX patching.
  • Installation of software (packages) using RPM and YUM.
  • Debug and resolve all issues in all the LinuxUnix environments
  • Patch Management and maintain the security compliance
  • User and group Management
  • Should have working knowledge in performance tuning
  • Remote Printer administration and configuration in LINUX [CUPS]
  • Technical knowledge sharing and Team management
  • Exposure to perform RCA on Major incidents and Proactive problem management
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer skills
  • Relevant certifications will be added advantage.
  • Flexibility in rotational shift (24*7)
