Prime Cloud Technical Support EngineerPreferred Qualifications:CEGBU Oracle Prime Cloud is growing its Prime Cloud its team.We are looking for IST based individuals who are willing to work US business hours between 12:00PM US Eastern through 9:00PM US Eastern, as part of this team you will support the latest technology offered for hosting Prime in OCI as well as GBUCS 3.0 and GBUCS native. As part of your daily tasks you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Prime and Instantis offerings. Other tasks will include monitoring product usability, preforming maintenance, installation and configuration tasks as directed. The Prime Cloud team works closely with the Prime Cloud Development team, as well as other Oracle teams directly involved in Oracles OCI / CNE Cloud offerings.If you re interested in joining our support team and would like to have the opportunity to be part of a support group that is going to help shape the future of Oracle s Cloud offerings and cloud customers alike, then this is the place to be. If you think you meet the requirements below, we are interested in speaking to youAs a Prime Cloud Engineer, you will be expected to meet the below requirements:At least 4 years proven implementation, support, consulting and/or development experience in the CRM product family, preferably in a SaaS or Cloud environment management.Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent work experience.Proven skills in using industry standard tools and techniques.Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.Must be flexible and willing to work 12:00PM US Eastern through 9:00PM US Eastern Monday through Friday and also, be available for weekend On-Call from time to time.Experience in troubleshooting performance issues (collect and analyze dumps, run SQL scripts etc.)Experience in any of the following will be considered as an advantage: Mentoring junior team members on new products and technologies, delivering product technical or functional trainings, Knowledge of or experience in: Weblogic, OBI, Apache Tomcat, IDM / OIM, OHS, Kibana/ELK, Jetty, Hazelcast, NGINX, IDCS, WTSS, CNE Secure Store.Key technical & Analytical Skills:Well-developed troubleshooting skills in the area of functional and technical CRM application environments.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to troubleshoot performance issuesExperience in one or more of the following:log reading and analyzingSQL queryingUnderstand Database structure, components and terminologyDocumenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.Troubleshooting in SaaS/Cloud environmentsBehavioral:Excellent communication skills, in terms of being able to deliver technical and functional knowledge and solutions to management and customer support personnel, including the ability to provide feedback (use language) to both technically aware and non-technically aware co-workers.Good interpersonal and customer care skills.Ability to work with other team members and OCI teams alike.Ability to work well and remain positive under pressureCustomer oriented attitude.Well-developed listening skills, the ability to ask questions and fully understand what s being asked.Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.Detail oriented.Logical thinker.Open to working alternate shifts, our team operates on a 24 x 7 schedule.Able to work well in a team, as well as on your own.Process orientation preferred.Education:Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.Other qualifications, certifications and work experience within the IT domain may be considered.Main responsibilities:You will be the technical support interface for CEGBU Prime Cloud offerings. You will provide environment support to internal Oracle teams, including Development, for resolution of problems related to the use of and maintenance of the Oracle Prime Cloud offering.You will have an understanding of both the Prime and Instantis offerings. You will develop an in-depth working knowledge of these products and/or platforms they run on. You will be able to complete assigned duties with minimal directions from management. Routinely, you will act independently while researching and developing solutions for customer reported issues.Detailed Description and Job RequirementsDefine, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.,
