Role Summary
Develops and Maintains the Link Level Simulator in Matlab for 4G and 5G Layer1Key Responsibilities
Develops and Maintains the Link Level Simulator in Matlab for 4G and 5G Layer1 Performs algorithm analysis to compare the various options and to identify the best ones using simulation models Identify and improve any issues in the existing algorithms within the current code base Analyse the field logs to identify any algorithm related issues and fix the same in Matlab Models
Support the development team with appropriate test vectors for validation purposes
Identify the match points to closely model and validate the actual Target C implementation with Matlab model result
Analyse the performance of existing algorithms to characterise the same.
Job Requirements
4+ Hands on Experience in Matlab and knowledge of Wireless communication base band chain is a must.
Good knowledge of LTE specifications is a preferred
Good understanding of OFDM receiver techniques is a must
Excellent analytical skills is desirable
Work with senior Systems Engineers to translate the algorithm requirements from documents to Matlab Model
Prior experience with an Link Level Simulator for any wireless product is a plus.
