As a Simics Validation Engineer in this team, you will be responsible for Validation of simics models thoroughly to enable pre-si development and validation activities from SW side for IPU Packet processing pipeline. one should be an expert in using simulation models, developing test plans, execute and automate testcases. Expert in networking, system architecture, buses, Si debug, knowledge in test generators for core level validation and automation tools, validating product features and identifying and debugging all functional bugs. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Develop test strategy for the new features and products. - Develop and maintain software test plans. - Perform thorough debug of the systems to assist in the problem identification and resolution. - Work alongside software development and hardware teams to analyzee and debug software or hardware issues. - Develop automated testcases and execute them using automation framework. - Use agile software development methodologies in the software development life cycle. - Lead the validation within the domain. The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed below. - Must be a team player, with a demonstrated experience technically influencing others. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In this position you will gain invaluable experience which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel.Qualifications BTech with 8+ years / MTech with 6+ years in Computer Science / Electrical / Electronics Engineering Experience in compilers for C/C++ Excellent coding skills using C/ C++/Python 4 plus years of experience in validation and debug of Software.- 4 plus years of experience with software testing, test methodology and functional / integration / regression testing. 4 plus years of experience leading or managing software validation or testing projects. Preferred Qualifications: Reading and interpreting technical specs and Register Transfer Level (RTL) code Verifying standard IO protocols like PCIE / CXL / USB / Ethernet etc. Debug, writing monitors/checkers/reference models / stimulus Developing multiple modern constraint random verification environments with checkers/monitors/stimulus and driving execution with functional /code coverage and assertions.Inside this Business Group The Network & Edge Group brings together our network connectivity and edge into a business unit chartered to drive technology end to end product leadership.
