Job Description

Procure and manage lab infrastructure Servers, Network switches and Storage

  • Configure Hardware, Operating System, Clusters and Virtual Machines
  • Sustaining support of customer escalations to engineering.
  • Hardware issue triage and support during VxRail IP software development lifecycle.
  • Coordination with PowerEdge component and software engineering teams to troubleshoot and root cause sustaining and development issues.
  • New component and peripheral device qualification.
  • Perform System, load and integration test on DellEMC HCI products.
Successful candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • Highly capable at engineering analysis, problem solving and debug
  • Proven ability in executing complex development efforts across multiple engineering and geographically disparate teams
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter and vSAN.
  • Experience with Python, shell scripting, MS Power shell, VmWare PowerCLI is a plus.
  • Experience with Dell EMC Enterprise servers and network switches is a plus.
  • Experience with Enterprise Server hardware and technologies including Server, Storage controllers, Ethernet adapters, memory modules, processor models, remote management cards.
  • Network configuration and debugging experience (HTTP, SNMP, NFS, etc.) is good to have
  • Experience with existing software defined storage or HCI solutions such as Microsoft Storage Spaces or Nutanix is a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Self-driven. Good in time management
  • Understanding and experience on automation is an added advantage
Desirable Requirements:
  • 6 to 9 Years of experience
  • Educational Qualification (BE/BTech/ME/MTech/MS/MCA)
