Job Description
This role will work with the Global Datacenter team to setup and administer ESXi host, Build & Configure Virtual Machine, and manage various aspect of hosts. Also the Engineer is responsible for providing patch related support to meet the latest PCI compliance and other corporate patch governance requirements. The Engineer will require deep analytical thinking based on research results to assess software patches and configuration changes to be applied to Windows Infrastructure. The Engineer will provide assessment including security, system, and business impact. The candidate must have a good understanding of the security implications of a patch. JOB Description Good Understanding in Windows Server Infrastructure. Understanding Windows NTFS file system permissions and hierarchy. Experience with configuration and deployment of infrastructure and applications Advance level of Powershell and Power CLI scripting to automate BAUs. Good experience with managing High Availability such as Windows Cluster Services Expertise in VMware vSphere 5.0, 6.0 or higher versions. VMware automation experience using Power CLI Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical support in configuring and managing VMware and Windows servers to support large VMWare infrastructure and applications Provide technical support in configuring and managing VMWare ESXi, VCentre and VM replication. Provide technical support in configuring and managing Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016) Understanding of Network like vSwitch, VLAN, ESXi / VM within DMZ zone Understanding of Virtualized storage such as LUN, Multi - Tier Storage, Datastore, Raw Disk mapping and how it affects the performance and functions. VM Replication, VM provisioning Monitoring, Backup & Restore processes and Troubleshooting host. Provide technical support in configuring and managing VMware and Windows servers to support large infrastructure and applications. Expertise in Windows 2008, 2012and above Experience in develop, build, install, configure, and maintain the Wintel environments Experience in ing patches/firmware on above platforms. Should have experience in managing VM and Physical servers such as IMM, iLo and iDRAC Experience in cloning & replication technology such as VSphere Replication, SRM. Understanding in Microsoft Patch management and operations framework. Should have strong knowledge and hands - on experience in End to End Patch management process and familiar with security vulnerabilities. Assists in proactively developing patch and vulnerability management procedures and processes within the security operations framework. Strong knowledge in Vulnerability Assessment & Remediation. Knowledge in Vulnerability Penetration Testing.,
