IOTG PMCE Platform Capabilities and Applications Engineering team is responsible for delivering SW-Defined, Edge Foundations to accelerate IA Affinity in the IOT Edge and to drive scale for IOTG products. We are looking for highly motivated software engineers with systems design expertise, responsible for design, and development, integration and validation of software ingredients and solutions focusing on cloud technologies like virtualization, containers and orchestration as well as IOT-unique capabilities like time determinism, functional safety, graphics, media, analytics, edge inference, security, and manageability. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Working with product line managers and architects to understand the requirements. Drive virtualization feature enabling and integration plan for each platform, responsible for the development of test methodologies and debug of failures on Edge base platform. Working on analyzing the performance issues related to Workload consolidation with vertical BUs, Working across multiple functional teams across multiple geographies.QualificationsBS/MS in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical and Electronics Engineering. At least 8 years of work experience in a system software development environment including a strong knowledge of Windows operating systems architecture. 4+ years of experience in Windows internals, build, integration, and debug. Programming knowledge of C,C++. Working knowledge of windows driver kit (WDK). Knowledge of windows device drivers specifically Graphics, Network and USB. Good understanding of Windows Internals, x86 Architecture. Hands on development experience in UEFI FW, Windows and/or Linux kernel. Debugging knowledge on Windows Environment. Knowledge of using the performance optimization tools on Windows like Intel VTune. Demonstrated technical leadership in software development projects. Ability to work independently and interdependently effectively. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Ability to take technology from concept approval to market. Ability to lead and define complex programs.,
