Provide technical support of VMware technologies (ESXi 6.x, vCenter, vSAN, DRS, HA, PowerCLI, DV Switches and vROPS) Deployment, management, upgrades, and support of VMware technologies Regular support of VMware and windows environment by resolving the escalated tickets for the internal and external customer Implementing VMware best-practice processes and procedures Upgrade Existing VMware environments to the latest versions Utilize VMware PowerCLI and PowerShell for scripting/automation of tasks Troubleshoot and Resolve VMware Operating System-based issues from Performance to Configuration. Perform daily system checks, review and respond to events reflected in various management tools, perform server patch management. Capacity planning to ensure clusters remain in healthy state of oversubscription Create up-to-date documentation for all VMware systems Provides escalation support for VMware related incidents from L2 engineers Complex VMware Troubleshooting. Must have a minimum of 5 years of hands on experience with vCenter, VMware ESX 6.x and maintain the complete VMware lifecycle including patching, troubleshooting, upgrades and migrations. Must have experience working with VMware vSAN Storage Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer daily.
