Job Description

Key areas of Responsibility

  • Be the subject matter expert and facilitator for all analytics related to product organization covering both strategic and tactical aspects
  • Drive innovation to come up with new analytics providing new business ideas and strategies
  • You will be managing and delivering People Analytics projects end to end, understanding project requirements, seeking necessary data privacy approvals, developing hypotheses, undertaking statistical analysis and presenting the data story with the aid of visualisations.
  • Write scripts to wrangle and explore often messy structured and non-structured data sets. Blend internal data sources from various systems with external data sources and APIs.
  • Build scalable machine learning models from experimentation and validation through to deployment.
  • You will be responsible for: Identifying, gathering, and analyzing complex, multi-dimensional datasets utilizing a variety of tools.
  • Designing Advanced Analytics solutions and services in the area(s) of predictive analytics.
Formulating mathematical approaches to solve those problems potentially utilizing Statistical Packages Social Sciences(SPSS), Python, R, JAVA, Standard Query Language(SQL), Apache Spark, etc.Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Commercial experience in developing insight and solving real life business problems, using data analysis , machine learning and statistical analysis (in any business domain). This experience should include a strong knowledge in the best practice of developing and testing models, model interpretation and validation.
  • At least 5 years experience in data collection/data mining/text mining
  • Exposure to unstructured data sets and Natural Language Processing
  • A strong experience using programming language for large scale labour or talent analysis
  • A strong experience in data manipulation and relational databases.
  • A strong mathematical and statistical background with a strong understanding of statistical inference, Experimental Design, sampling and simulation.
  • A logical mind-set with the ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the business
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships with all levels and all departments
  • Technically competent with good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong personal drive and commitment to delivery of results
  • Demonstrates strong analytical, creative and proactive thinking
