A Tax Analyst is an integral part of the McAfee tax team and will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of tax issues. This position will support the core tax function and focus on tax accounting functions , as well as audits , compliance , provision and research that covers most segments of tax including federal , state , and international. The Treasury position is mainly responsible for cash positioning , reporting , and forecasting for APAC entities.: From device to cloud , McAfee provides market - leading cyber security solutions for both business and consumers. With the mission of capturing the biggest market share in the area of cyber security , network security , endpoint security , threat research , malware research , cloud security , we work together for a common goal of shaping the company s future by designing and building best in class cyber security solutions.About the role : The duties and responsibilities can consist of , but are not limited to the following : Assist with the preparation annual property tax renditions and related payments and monthly property tax accrual; Assist with the preparation of corporate and partnership state tax return apportionment data; Assist with cleaning transaction data files for monthly sales tax returns; Support computation of quarterly estimated tax payments , annual extension payments , as well as partner taxable income distributions. Assist with gathering supporting documentation for state tax audits Assist in constant process improvement Assist in relevant treasury functions. About you : You have atleast three years of general corporate or partnership tax experience as well as international tax with some experience in a public accounting environment.You have an experience with Excel , SAP and Hyperion / HFM is a plus. Tax software experience is an added plus. You have an ability to thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment; You have excellent computer skills , especially Microsoft Excel; You have solid organizational , analytical , written , oral and interpersonal skills; You have strong technical tax skills and experience using tax software; You have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously through to completion; You have a firm understanding of financial accounting practices; You have exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details; ability to interact effectively with external service providers and members of the accounting , finance and tax departments; superior work ethic and dedication to the highest work quality and job excellence; and demonstrated ability to contribute to a culture of excellence , integrity , accountability and teamwork. ,
