Position Team Lead Backend Team Reporting to Tech Architect Location HSR Layout, Bangalore Job Responsibilities: Need to closely work with business & Developers team, fill the gap between business & developers Full lifecycle application development Design, code and debug software Participate in software modeling and simulation Participate in system architecture (high level & low level designs) Participate in making choices of new technologies Integrate new software solutions with existing systems Responsible for feature or product deliverables Extract and reverse engineer existing code Estimating the team work needed for project delivery, monitoring & guiding the team to ensure delivery in time with predefined quality Managing a team of 2-5 developers Technical Skills: Mandatory Tech Skills 8-10 years of experience using Core Java/JEE 8-10 years of experience Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security Proven track record in conceptualizing, designing, developing & delivering products from scratch by managing team Hands on with experience on Web Services using REST, JSON Experience developing web applications (Spring MVC, RESTful, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Web Services) Familiarity with Micro-services Architecture Experience working with Ant/Maven/Gradle, GitHub/Bitbucket, Junit or Other Unit Test frameworks Experience working on Apache HTTP, Tomcat Servers Experience working on enterprise-ready container platforms like Docker Advanced understanding of Object Oriented Design, Design Patterns and UML Experience using MYSQL database & NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, etc. & data management like Cassandra Experience with messaging queues like kafka . Solid experience in design, coding, unit testing and debugging Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Pipeline, Junit, SonarCloud etc) Experience working in Agile development environment Preferred Tech Skills Experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS is a plus AWS cloud development experience is a plus. Experience in building components and using various AWS services. Mobile application development a plus Team Management Skill Experience of managing a team of atleast 4/5 persons for a period not less than 4 years Guide the team in day-to-day requirements and ensure the deliverables are in line with expectation Ontime reporting to Senior Management on development and work progress of the team Non-technical Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Articulates thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively Ability to work effectively within a fast paced, rapid growth environment A self-starter with the demonstrated ability to take initiative and can proactively identify issues/opportunities and recommend actions Strong results orientation Demonstrated customer service orientation,
