Job Description

#LI-PostTechnical Solution Architect will be responsible for creating solutions for different finance functions. This will require expertise in solving complex business problems using data engineering, visualization technologies and knowledge of data science techniques. It would help if incumbent has worked E2E in multiple data engineering and analytics projects and has willingness to learn new technologies.What a Technical Solution Architect does at HP:

  • Collaborates with peers, junior engineers, data scientists and project team to create solutions for different Finance functions
  • Typically interacts with high-level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, Senior Directors and Program Core Teams (High-Exposure Team)
  • Leads multiple projects requiring data engineering and data science solution development
  • Drives design innovation across HP
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
  • Bachelors, Masters, or higher degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Typically, 10-12 years relevant experience
  • Experience deploying and maintaining solutions in production
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL)
  • Experience in visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau
  • Knowledge of data science concepts and techniques
  • E2E experience in data engineering and data science projects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • This is a team that has growth opportunity and we are very interested in long-term people to grow at HP.
  • Proficiency in SSIS and SSAS is preferred
  • Understanding of Apache Airflow preferred
  • Familiarity with Spark preferred
  • Familiarity of data storage technologies like Blob storage, ADLS etc.
  • Familiarity with Python preferred
