Technical Architect - SE III (Big Data Analytics) Technical Architect - SE III (Big Data Analytics) | E2open Careers Twitter Widget Iframe August 20 , Karnataka , BLR , IND Key Responsibilities: Lead and own architectural aspects of designing and building multi - tenanted modern data warehouses , business intelligence , predictive and prescriptive analytics and visualization platform Ensures security , data isolation , quality , integrity , extensibility , adaptability , scalability , availability and understandability of this platform Understands technical , business and organizational requirements of a modern data warehouse and business intelligence platform Proven experience architecting scalable , performance - oriented solutions using emerging Big Data technologies and traditional ETL tools Owns the logical and physical data model of DW and OLAP systems Leads and owns evaluation and selection of technology products to meet strategic business intelligence data management objectives Lead discussions with stakeholders on software requirements and design aspects related to key technical components , frameworks , interfaces etc. Mentor / coach junior developers and leads in the team(s) during design review , implementation and use of best practices and guidelines. Compile and write technical design documentation related to data warehouse design and architecture. Effectively communicate and resolve issues with cross - functional groups to escalate issues or changes in scope. Understand data volumes and customer reporting SLAs and provide infrastructure sizing needs and orchestration solutions. Skill requirements 9 - 11 years of experience in building distributed data intensive applications Solid expertise in Hadoop (MR , HDFS , HBase / Phoenix) , Spark , Kafka , Nifi , Druid and Kylin Good understanding of Big Data security concepts and tools , including understanding and usage of Kerberos , Ranger and Knox Good understanding of relational DBs (MySQL / Oracle) , Columnar DBs (Infobright) , ETL / ELT tools (Informatica Power Center / Scoop) At least 3+ years of experience in an Architect role which should include architecting solutions using Big Data technologies Experience in general data warehouse design concepts including Snowflakes , Star Schemes , Dimensional Design and fact tables , and emerging design patterns for managing unstructured data , including data from social media. Experience building multi - tenanted data platforms preferred Qualifications and Experience: Tech / MS in computer science or equivalent from a recognized university / institute 9 - 11 years of experience in building distributed data intensive applications At least 3+ years of experience in an Architect role which should include architecting solutions using Big Data technologies Key Performance Metrics: An agile and comprehensive BI and analytics infrastructure to aid our customers with high - value insights Improvement in scalability and availability of our platform Development of architectural guidelines / best practices and inculcating this in the team Troubleshooting skills ability to produce tangible results in a finite timeframe Qualifications Skills You are using an unsupported browser.
