The role offers technical challenges and learning opportunities that will suit a self-driven individual to assist and support our valued customers. This role will be based in India, with the main focus being on our customers in the EMEA/APAC regions.
    • Understand the clients business needs and identify/define solutions to achieve their business goals
      • Ability to identify and develop more complex solutions with some support from more senior team members.
      • Effectively communicates solution to the client including the pros, cons, and risks.
      • Understand how the assigned work supports the client in achieving their goals and the associated impact if our work is not completed with high quality, on time, and within scope.
      • Ability to pull more detailed data from the system, analyze, and leverage to make recommendations for client solutions.
    • Implement client solutions through product launches, configuration changes and/or data modifications
      • Ability to manage small projects (e.g., rate change, simple items passers, BAU team) successfully.
      • Participate in requirements gathering sessions, performing gap analysis, system review, and data analysis for projects.
      • Provide client parameter setting options documentation with multiple recommendations as to best options for implementation.
      • Assist in the completion of effective deliverables in a timely and efficient manner, identifying risk, and ensuring appropriate escalations are handled and communicated appropriately.
    • Works with client contacts and internal team members to meet client needs in a timely and efficient manner
      • Research and solve basic problems utilizing established procedures and guidelines.
      • Follows the appropriate trouble-shooting methods with assistance and guidance
      • Conduct solution acceptance testing and handover
      • Design and deliver customer training
      • Create and maintain customer support documentation
      • Provide internal and customer reports/metrics
    • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
    • Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG s core competencies and values.
    Minimum Requirements: You should possess a high level of spoken and written English; have a relevant degree with 3 year s industry experience; and a proven background in the following:
    • Provide technical support for a variety of CSGi s software/ hardware-based solutions
    • Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize effectively in a multi-tasking environment
    • Database installation and administration (MySQL , Oracle) Familiarity with relational database platforms
    • Development/Scripting skills - Perl, Bash, JavaScript, Ansible
    • Exposure to virtualized and Cloud-based architectures
    • Installation and operation of virtualized platforms (VMware) and cloud deployments
    • Linux installation and administration
    • IP LAN/WAN design and administration
    • Web Service configuration/administration (Apache Tomcat )
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills
    • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
      • Database marketing or campaign management tools
    Preferred Skills:
    • Previous knowledge of technologies such as Elasticsearch, X-Pack and Kibana are highly desirable while a basic understanding of Java and/or C coding methodologies would be of benefit. Exposure to Protocols such as SS7, Sigtran, MAP, SMPP and Diameter would be of benefit. Experience with CRM, Billing, Order Management definition, configuration, implementation, or upgrade projects would be of benefit.
    Education:
    • Bachelor s Degree in Business, Computer Science, and/or related field or the equivalent work experience.
