  • Works for worldwide customers within her/his own team or with other Cisco teams to solve problems and enhance future products
  • Solves reported product and network problems of moderate to high complexity
  • Effectively utilize databases of existing issues, debugging tools and simple or moderate lab simulations to analyse problems and identify solutions with a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Keeps up-to-date with the latest technology trends/products in order to provide high quality support to customers
Who You ll Work WithYou ll be joining our CX Technology Group, which will be a part of the CX India TheatreAs part of the CX Support Services team you will have the opportunity to work with some of our largest customers across various domains, to support complex service requests, and develop automation & Innovation projects inhouse , within the security domain. Who You AreThe Technical Consulting Engineer will have a working background in the Security domain.Should have technical knowledge/experience of Working on features like NAT, ALG, HA, IDS/IPSOrworking on AAA technologies like RADIUS, TACACS, DOT1XOrworking on VPN technologies like IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL VPN, NHRP, GRE over IPsec, Remote Access VPN Clients etc.Good understanding of Cisco ISE architecture and policiesGood understanding of routing & switching conceptsDeep understanding of OSI model & protocols like ARP, TCP, IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, ISAKMP Working knowledge of WiresharkWorking knowledge of programming languages like PythonExperience in working in a Customer support environment with excellent customer handling skills.Logical Problem Solving approach and Analytical skillsMinimum QualificationsBachelor s or Master s degree in engineeringA minimum of 6-8 years of experience with Security Technologies preferably CiscoA minimum of 3 years of experience in Support environment with proven Troubleshooting experience in complex environments,Solid technical foundation in networking (CCNA or above) is requiredCisco Security Certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security) would be an added advantageLinux, VMware knowledge would be a plus Experience in working on Cisco Products - IOS/IOS-XE routers, ASA, FTD etc would be a plusAbility to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing; other languages would be a plusPassion and demonstrated ability to learn and work in a multicultural team environmentAbility to drive, achieve goals with limited supervision We Are Cisco #WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference.
