Job Description

  • Should have overall 20+ years of industry s experience and minimum 10 years in medical device industry is must.
  • Should have experience in managing multiple teams and handling large volume of medical device projects.
  • Should have multinational cultural exposure and have experience in managing customers from multiple geographies (Europe / Americas).
  • Technical Management:
  • Should have experience of managing end-to-end medical devices product development project (Class II and Class III preferred) and should have knowledge of medical device manufacturing process.
  • Should have lead or managed technical team in past.
  • Should be aware of challenges of Medical device industry, come up with mitigation plan, and be responsible of implementing the same.
  • Should have knowledge on Healthcare and Medical devices regulatory compliance, 13485, 21CFR820, 14971, 510k, CE and other international medical regulatory standards
  • Should be knowledgeable on latest technical domain like AI, IOT, cloud computing etc and be responsible to identify and implement use cases in these domains.
  • Operational Management:
  • Should have experience in setting up new and managing offshore development centre.
  • Should be responsible for smooth operations, support to delivery teams by interacting with cross-functional team
  • Review performance data that includes financial, sales, and activity reports and spreadsheets, to monitor and measure departmental productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Process Management:
  • Should have experience of managing high level programs
  • Should implement process SOPs for overall smooth execution of ODC.
  • Should monitor and control program/project wise KPIs and report to top management on regular basis.
  • Should be responsible in implementing and optimizing the process, which shall benefits delivery teams in meeting quality, costs and rework.
  • People Management:
  • Should have experience of building the team size of 20+ engineers of cross-domain.
  • Should ensure optimum utilization of human resources across different domains.
  • Should be responsible in resources planning for existing and new projects.
  • Should able to coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee on boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  • Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance development planning.
  • Conducting monthly / quarterly meeting with managers for discussing teams performance and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Coming out with improvement plans to minimize the gap of required skill vs resources skills.
  • Ensure to keep team motivation always positive by team
