With our deep industry knowledge and automation expertise, we understand the needs of our customers and enable them to lead through safer, more productive, and energy efficient operations.This is a Technical Lead role, Reporting to the Manager Research & Development in business area Industrial Automation (IA) located in Bangalore and you will be contributing significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks.Your responsibilities

  • Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Improving existing software quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures, making recommendations and designing and implementing changes in existing system.
  • Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
  • Collaborating with Product and system architects in defining Product/Module.
  • Following the software development lifecycle, having good understanding of various SDLC models like SaFe Agile, SCRUM etc.
  • Having good understanding of Software Documentations and demonstrates solutions by modeling documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Living ABB s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
Your background
  • MCA/B.Tech/B.E from a reputed University in Computer Science /Electronics/Instrumentation.
  • Required 10 to 12 Years of experience strong programming experience in web technologies like HTML 5, Blazor, Javascript, Angular JS, React, ASP.NET.
  • Should be aware of Docker/Container concepts and related development.
  • Should have experience of application software design & database architecture/design pattern.
  • Should have strong understanding of UML (class, activity, sequence diagrams).
  • Experience in Industrial Automation and especially in Distributed Control Systems is must.
