Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of a solution that will be utilized by millions of end-customers.

  • Take ownership of product development and lead the software engineering team on the ground level by being fully involved in coding and design.
  • Drive the development process using Microsoft Development Lifecycle principles
  • Mentor team members to develop high-quality code.
  • Perform thorough code reviews.
  • Ensure the development process places security as a prime requirement.
  • Contribute to documentation for operations and deployment.
  • Attend engineering and business meetings to drive deliverables successfully.
  • Proactively collaborate with other teams, including customers and 3 rd parties.
  • Develop a big-picture understanding of the product (business, customer, development, support) and ensure all details contribute to the success of each area.
  • Determine and develop the best solutions to problems.
  • Work independently to solve technical problems.
Required Skills
  • 6+ years of professional experience with C#/.NET.
  • Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Experience with Microsoft Development Lifecycle
  • Proficient in in Windows desktop application development using UWP, WPF, Windows Forms, and Electron UI.
  • Proficient in UI, Backend, Database Design and Implementation of Windows Desktop Application.
  • Familiarity with the SOLID Design Principles
  • Familiarity with the Client Server Architecture Applications
  • Familiarity with the .NET Core and .NET framework (4.5+)
  • Familiarity with Visual studio 2017/2019
  • Familiarity with RESTful services
  • Sound knowledge of cloud services, such as Azure, and cloud-based development
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and Dockers.
  • Database experience in MS SQL and SQLite.
  • Hands on experience in multi-threaded applications
  • Good knowledge of cryptography and PKI is required.
  • Highly security conscious.
  • Strong communicator (written and verbal): ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Experience in Agile environment
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and driven individual
  • Ability to analyze and assist in resolving defects
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the practical application of engineering technology and ability to use broad application of established principles & theories
  • Keen attention to detail
Preferred Skills
  • Professional experience in data, backup, and recovery domain
  • Experience working on Windows Shell Namespace Extensions using .Net core library or any other third party libraries like EZNamespaceExtensions.
  • Experience with C, C++ development
  • Knowledge about assembly language
  • Knowledge about file systems like NTFS, FAT32
  • Web Application Development
  • Good knowledge of data compression algorithm and its implementation using C#/third party library is preferred.
  • Git/SVN

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
