This position is for the Electric Systems ( ES) Software group at Global Engineering Center - India based at Bangalore. At least 8 to 11 years of experience in software development/ verification in the Aerospace/ Avionics Industry.Primary Responsibilities:Understands Systems and sub- system design requirements traceability, flow down requirements, develop and test.Architects and proposes new designs Estimates development/ V&V effort and schedule.Performs HW/ SW integration testing.Responsible for overall project design and is ultimately responsible for overall project success.Other responsibilities include:Reviews and AnalysisTeam Mentoring and counselingTechnical Problem resolution & TroubleshootingPeople management, handling teams. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:FAA/ EASA certification and audit experience for DO178B/ C Experience in Software development life- cycle: Requirements, Design, development, integration and qualification tested to the requirements of DO- 178B/ C.Good understanding of C, Ada, C++ Good understanding of RISC based Micro- controllers, DSP Processor TMS32 Series and Power PC.Good working knowledge of Avionics Communication protocols such as ARINC 429, 629, AFDX, CAN.TTP is preferredGood hands on experience in Requirements management using DOORS.Good hands on experience in Software Configuration Management tools like CM Synergy. Good understanding of the Configuration Management and Change management techniques.Good understanding various Software Test methodologies (Software- Software Integration Vs Hardware Software Integration testing).Strong hands on experience in Test Design and Test Execution ( Level- A & Level B projects).Strong hands on experience in Scripting languages like Python, TCL, Java.Strong hands on experience Test Scripting/ Test Case generation, reviews, analysis.Strong hands on usage of Static and Dynamic source code analysis tools (LDRA/ RTRT/ Vector Cast/ Polyspace).Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/ computer scienceNote to candidates regarding interview scams: Wed like to make it clear that UTC Aerospace Systems never asks candidates for money.
