We have a amazing and happy work culture at Bangalore , where entire center works as one single team and truly cares for each other!For more information , visit www.appdynamics.com About You You are the kind of engineer who is passionate about programming , have a good understanding of distributed systems and are keen to solve challenging problems. You have - 3 years of strong product development experience. Strong foundation in data structures , algorithms , concurrent programming Strong experience in full - stack development using Java. Experience in building scalable distributed systems with low operational overhead. Working knowledge of Gradle and UNIX Shell Scripting Familiarity with contemporary open source frameworks / libraries used in building RESTful services and distributed systems. Ability to drive innovations around new features as well as improve current design / architecture. Good communication , interpersonal and collaboration skills. Have a track record of collaborating effectively in a distributed team spread across time zones. It is a plus if you have , DevOps experience running your own services and containerization tools like Docker , Kubernetes Experience shipping multi - tenant platforms for both SaaS and on - premise deployments Deep experience with infrastructure and systems engineering , and scaling services on cloud computing platforms like AWS Experience in application performance management About the role As a backend engineer in the EUM development team you would be required to: Analyse new feature requirements for EUM Monitoring products Work with Product Management and User Experience teams as and when required. Architect and design product features for both SaaS and on premise offerings with focus on maintainability , extensibility , scalability , and low operational cost. Undertake proof - of - concept work where required. Code and implement features with very high coverage of unit tests and component tests Perform design and code reviews Contribute to running our SaaS offerings with an eye on improving operational excellence. Take up defect fixing work as part of product patch releases Help defuse high visibility customer escalations.,
