This is a position in network operations center (NOC) for enabling reliable service operation for IT network services with functional responsibilities including:Manage network operation center to provide WAN and DDI service supportEnsure to deliver the target KPI defined for network operation centerManage technical support specialist team to handle 24x7 operation supportCultivate growth and development of the NOC, resulting increase in shift coverage and cross-training opportunitiesMaintain employee schedules, replacement hiring in case of attrition and trainingDrive critical P1 incident technically to resolve, provide workarounds on expedite manner to ensure high service uptimeHandle escalated incident, track it to closure managing all stakeholders and senior managementIdentify design related gaps that caused the incident and propose for preventive actionReview top problem contributor area, drive to bring improvements and long-term resolutionWork through problem management process to support technical implementationTrack high availability test for devices and service following industry best-practicesFind opportunity for automation scripts, resulting in reduced time spend on manual tasksInvolve in industry lead auditing and certification processes to provide required evidence of process complianceEnsure all IT Service Management processes are managed through an ITSM tool.Review all network documentation and ensure its correctness up-to-dateProvide IT infrastructure reports and maintain historical performance dataCoordinate with cross technology technical team to resolve the issueComply to change management process for change implementationEngage WAN service provider, DDI OEM to troubleshoot the issue and escalate to get it resolvedAdditional duties as required and possible remote implementation assistance on special projectsQualificationsBachelors degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalentMinimum of 15+ years experience in Network services, deep knowledge of and management in complex environmentExperience in network designs/configurations, managing, supporting and deploying network infrastructuresStrong ability to diagnose network alerts, events or issuesExcellent time management and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and with minimal supervisionGood oral and written communication skills, and ability to address conflict with others constructivelyAbility to work in 24x7 work shiftGood understanding on network technologies TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, Trunking, & Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec and TLS;Proficient in Standard Routing Protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Route Policy, QoS, VRRP, Multicast, LDP and MPLS.Hands-on experience in enterprise WAN architecture deployment and support using various industry devicesHands-on experience in campus Lan switching architecture deployment and support using various industry devicesHands-on experience in handling Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software and CLI will be preferredHands-on experience in handling configuring and troubleshooting Nokia services as well as SDPs, VPLS, VLL, IES, VPRN will be preferredAbility to acquire Nokia Router product knowledge, learn CLI and deployment would be consideredExpertise level in handling complex routing design, routing issue with multi-vendor environmentExperience in IPv6 WAN routing architecture and deployment expertisePrevious experience of understanding and solving independently complex issues related to WAN servicesStrong knowledge on Enterprise wired and wireless network, firewalls, virtualization, load balancing and SD-WANOptional knowledge in the areas of Virtualized Service Routers (VSR), operating systems such as Red Hat, Ubuntu and OpenStack would be a plusRequirement gathering experienceUnderstanding of ITIL processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishEager and capable to work in a global multi-cultural team and to develop him/her selfStrong customer focusDrive to deliver results, get things done attitude,
