Job Description

Qualifications Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in technical discipline or related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of relevant work experience, and 4 years of industry experience managing large-scale and dynamic projects.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in data analytics (working with SQL)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience of working with engineering teams and leading technical programs
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and ability to make trade-offs.

You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. The goal of Geo Data Operations (GDO) is to contribute to Geo s mission by delivering world class geo data by utilizing human resources in the most valuable ways possible. The Risk team handles a range of preventative and reactive risk management functions. We provide frontline firefighting support for major geo data issues that can harm our users and our brand - think offensive content on the map, fraudulent websites or perhaps dangerous driving directions. We also provide a Risk framework which allows partner teams throughout Geo to develop the appropriate risk posture.

Responsibilities
  • Drive cross-functional mitigation programs that address Geo Datas most critical risks.
  • Identify organizational process breakdowns and drive root cause analysis of system vulnerabilities to identify mitigation strategies.
  • Use credibility and influence to provide key inputs to Geo leadership decision making.
  • Management, tracking and reporting of the program successfully through the entire lifecycle.
