Job Description

Technical Solution Consultant-MicrosoftCustomer Solution Centers are made up of teams that provide remote (offsite) service; customer access, pre-sales, post-sales, and service delivery. Technical teams focus is to solve various business systems and applications problems for customers, onsite engineering personnel and Authorized Service Providers on standard, specialized or complex systems.Job Profile: Technical Consultant Remote support (Microsoft Technologies)The primary function of support consultants is to provide in-depth technical and technological expertise in their particular areas of focus, so that we can develop a genuinely customized solution for every customer. Initially support consultants provide services to a limited number of small accounts to which theyre personally assigned, but support becomes more and more specific as you move through the experience levels, right up to the highly complex design, scoping and implementation leadership of international and strategic accounts, working at highest level with customers and managing large projects.Required Skills1. Good Troubleshooting skills /Software related queries of our global clients either through Phone, Email and remote sessions2. Documentation of the case and functional writing skills required.3. Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience.4. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.5. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts.6. Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models (e.g. shift, call availability etc.)7. Clear communication skills and Ability to work independently.8. Confident telephone manner and Fluency in English.9. Must possess excellent written & spoken communication skills.10. MCSA/MCSE/MCTS/MCITP Desired

  • Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies.
  • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO s.
  • Expert knowledge of AD, ADFS, PKI in Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2.
  • Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012 landscape.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Forefront Identity Management, Microsoft Exchange, Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) are preferable.
  • Must have deep and thorough understanding of monitoring best practices, preferably with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM) understanding and experience.
  • Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; Physical Server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (e.g. VMware, HyperV) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
  • Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of the Windows Systems, Active Directory, and related systems.
  • Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
  • Good knowledge on Azure IAAS, AD DS, Azure Active Directory Premium.
Key Technical Skills (Active Directory)

  • Spam filtering solutions
  • Data retention policies and enforcement
  • Configuring and troubleshooting email transport technologies (DNS, SMTP, RPC, POP3, etc.)
