We re looking for JAVA and NMS enthusiasts who can build the next generation completely scaled-out cloud service management plane for the Nuage products. The Virtual Service Director (VSD) is a policy, business logic and analytics engine that supports the abstract definition of network services. Through RESTful APIs to VSD, administrators can define and refine service designs and incorporate enterprise policies.Job Responsibilities & CompetenciesEssential skills that we re looking for in our VSD engineer:

  • Experience developing server-side Java applications and looking into scale, memory leak and performance issues
  • Experience in the JVM thread dumps, heap dumps, jhat, jmap
  • Developing application using the JEE framework
  • Good knowledge of concurrency and synchronization issues/techniques in a multithreaded and multiprocessor environment
  • Strong understanding of design issues related to software abstraction and componentization versus system performance.
  • Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. NetConf,ReST)
  • Solid understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
  • Using Hibernate for object/relational mapping
