Job Description

    Job Title: Service Desk Engineer & Desktop Support EngineerDuration: 6 - 12 Months (Contract)Location: BangaloreWork Mode: On-siteWorking Days: 6 days workingKey Responsibilities
    • Troubleshooting & Resolution:Diagnosing, fixing, and testing hardware, software, and peripheral issues (printers, scanners, phones).
    • System Setup & Maintenance:Installing, configuring, and upgrading software and hardware for new and existing users
    • User Support (Calling support):Providing prompt, professional technical support via telephone, email, or in-person.
    • Calling Support:Handling inbound technical support calls, making outbound follow-ups for issue resolution, providing status updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Ticketing & Documentation:Managing support requests via IT service desk systems, documenting issues, and maintaining inventory.
    • Networking:Monitoring network connections to ensure stability.
    Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Technical Skills:Strong understanding of Windows/Linux/Mac OS, networking principles, and remote troubleshooting tools (e.g., TeamViewer).
    • Experience:Previous experience in a technical support or help desk role is typically required.
    • Soft Skills:Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
    • Education:A bachelors or associate degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
