Job Description

"

  • Resolve customer issues reported to Autodesk via phone, web, online forums and other channels
  • Provide prompt, friendly and efficient assistance to Autodesk customers on a variety of issues and questions related to customization, API, design automation, Dynamo, Forge, etc
  • Research, verify, and document product issues, solution in short and clear articles for our Knowledge Base, or in our internal case management system
  • Priority handling and escalation of critical issues and monitoring of service level compliance
  • Document support interactions in a company-wide case management system
  • Escalate customer issues to internal teams as required
  • Actively manage the personal backlog of support requests
  • Manage customer expectations by providing timely updates on the progress
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Civil, Architecture, Mechanical or Computer Science
  • 3+ years of developing experience with AutoCAD/Revit API or equivalent
  • Working knowledge with Revit SDK or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience working with BIM elements, geometry, symbols, and core API objects in Revit
  • Prior working experience with Dynamo or willingness to learn relevant programming environments to implement algorithms
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented programming
  • Net environment using Python or C#
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Construction and BIM industry needs and workflows would be added advantage
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable capability to own the problem (customer issue), troubleshoot and ability to solve or mitigate the problem
  • Exceptional team player skills. Ability to work in flexible working hours
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
