Job Description

Primary goal is to train the associates on the technological front as per the objectives of the Academy and the requirement of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Proficiency: Responsible for the technical subject knowledge, retention, conceptual knowledge, self learning of associates and application of the same.
  • Associate Performance: Responsible for the technical skill development & transformation of the associate
  • Troubleshooting & Diagnostic skills: To ensure that all the associates are well versed with the theoretical and practical knowledge of the technical contents covered as per the TOC.
  • Competency Lab Execution: Enable & Equip the associates with adequate capabilities so that they can the knowledge gained during the Fundamental, Essential & Product phases of the training during the Simulation Lab.
  • Preparation for the session: To come well prepared for the session
  • Doubt Clarification : To clarify previous session doubts (if any)
  • Session Timing Adherence : Should start the session on time
  • Classroom decorum : Should not to attend phone calls / message in between the session
  • Adhoc absence: If faculty is on leave, information has to be passed on to backup faculty on the topics to be covered in advance.
  • Time Table adherence: To ensure that the time - table has been adhered and any changes in the same needs to be communicated to training supervisor. In case of any changes an approval would need to be sought on the same.
  • Weekly Assessments : To be part of presentation assessment
  • Question Bank : Need to support in question bank enhancement related to the course
  • Compliance: Following of IMS Academy rules and guidelines

Required Skills:

Should have minimum 5+ years of experience in Training the Freshers/Laterals Should be certified in CCNP Routing and Switching / CCIE Routing and Switching Configuration of Cisco Router 1800, 2500, 2600, 2800, and 3600
  • Configure and Troubleshooting of Routing Protocol: Static Routing Protocol, Default Routing Protocol, RIPV - 1, RIPV - 2, OSPF, EIGRP, Introductory BGP
    • Traffic Filtering using Standard and Extended access - lists Creation & modification of access list, prefix - list & distribution lists, Route - map NAT (Static, Dynamic & PAT) Policy Based Routing PBR, Route Filtering, Redistribution, Summarization. Using Tunnel GRE, IPV6toIPV4. IP Addressing (IPV4 & IPV6), Sub - netting, CIDR, Implementing VLSM Design Network. Configuration Cisco Switches 2960, 3550, and 3560 & VLAN in Cisco switches. Configuration and troubleshooting of VTP (Dot 1q and ISL) & STP. Using Protocol for Load Balancing in L3 devices - HSRP/VRRP/GLBP Port Aggregation (Ether Channel) Configuration and troubleshooting of WAN technologies - Frame Relay, PPP, VPN, leased lines. Skills for troubleshooting in DC/DRS LAN & WAN issues. Proficiency in working in MPLS & its associated VRF and other wireless media Proficiency in troubleshooting/implementation of GetVPN and IPSec technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting/implementation of Site - to - Site, Edge to Site, Edge to Edge VPN.
    • Should have the knowledge of basic understanding of security tools and appliances like firewalls, IPS/IDS.
    • Need to have the knowledge & understanding of interface zones / NAT / Routes on zone - based firewalls like ASA, Firepower and Palo Alto.
