Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
The qualified individual will make significant contributions to thedevelopment of world-class PCIe based SSD controllers. The Engineer will bepart of the PCIe validation team, and the role will be that of an individualcontributor. Below are the duties and responsibilities for the same.
Contribute insetting up and enhancing the PCIe/NVME validation test environment.
Create test plan,develop, execute and debug PCIE/NVME validation tests.
Develop tests anddrivers using C /Linux driver programming and execute them.
Debug failuresusing protocol analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Execute PCIE/NVMERTL level tests in simulation and in the FPGA environment.
Working withexternal PCIE vendors to debug complex system level issues.
MinimumQualifications:
REQUIRED:
BE / B Tech / ME /M Tech / MS
PREFERRED:
Strong workingknowledge with PCIe standard upto Gen3/4.
Good understandingin pre-silicon environments (Verification, Emulation, Bring-up).
Strongunderstanding and working knowledge in Linux PCIE/NVME Driver programming.
RequiredSkills/Experience:
Expert at an SoClevel post-silicon validation and bring-up.
SoC architecturallevel understanding is a must.
Good understandingof processor architecture like ARM/ARC or similar.
Good C programmingexperience.
Strongunderstanding and working knowledge in Linux PCIE/NVME Driver programming.
Experience in anyscripting languages such as Perl/Python/Bash etc. is a plus.
Strong debugskills using lab equipment like high-speed PCIe protocol analyzer andoscilloscopes.
ExcellentDebugging skills at SoC and System Level.
Strong analyticalskills.
Ability to learnnew and complex system and designs.
Highly organized,able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
