Job Description

    Job Summary 1Theis responsible for leading an IT Team which oversees and assists with current practices, coordinating and assigning tasks, developing work schedules, and completing repairs and installation activities. In addition, supervise software development, maintenance, and hardware and assist with vendor selection and management. Studies analyze and report on trends, operational risks, and expansion opportunities.Duties & Responsibilities 1
      • Train, supervise, and participate in the recruiting process including evaluating IT staff.
      • Resource Scheduling and backup support for IT staff.
      • Support and manage EDI activities, both customer and vendor.
      • Oversee the operation of the ISeries (AS400) hardware and software.
      • Oversee and direct the implementation of operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
      • Oversee and maintain disaster recovery or business technology succession plan.
      • Oversee and manage short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
      • Manage the IT staff that upgrades and maintains company computer systems, databases, mainframe systems, data communications networks, and software programs.
      • Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards.
      • Provide consultative support to planning initiatives through analysis, reports, and recommendations.
      • Advise with planning and policy-making committees.
