Who we are looking forThe Technology Risk Management Team is a First Line of Defense function responsible for driving effective technology risk management and controls assurance at State Street. The individual in this position will be responsible for managing a local team of 3 to 4 control testers with the opportunity to grow and expand the team. The group will be responsible for executing design and operating effectiveness testing of internal IT controls and supporting multiple IT audit, risk and compliance program goals and objectives. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of Cyber and IT general controls and an understanding of technology risk drivers within the Financial Services Industry.What you will be responsible forAs Technology Risk Manager you willOversee and quality assure the planning and execution of formal risk and control assurance activities and testing of IT control capabilities within the global Technology organizationManage a local team of control testers and ensure appropriate prioritization of assurance schedule and coverage.Engage with IT process and control owners to lead process walkthroughs and document new or changing IT controls.Examine key IT controls and evaluate design and operating effectiveness in mitigating risk and demonstrating compliance with policies, standards and regulatory obligations.Adhere to and evolve standard control test methodologies and deliver quality test work papers to support testing conclusions.Deliver clear and meaningful findings, assessment reports, presentations, and other materials for Sr. Management.Closely collaborate with 2nd line Enterprise Technology Risk, Corporate Audit and External Auditors both globally and regionally.Develop a strong understanding and subject matter expertise in State Street business and system processes.Keep up to date and knowledgeable on relevant policy, standards and regulatory requirements. Support internal Policy and Standards development.Education & Preferred QualificationsBachelor s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related field; Master s degree a plusMinimum of 12-15 years of professional experience in technology risk, audit or compliance management Proven leadership experience in the oversight and execution of control assurance; Experience as a lead IT auditor or IT compliance manager a plusStrong English language skills, both written and verbalCandidate should have expertise in Cyber and IT General Controls and a sound understanding of IT platforms, applications, and related technology.Knowledge of industry Risk and Control frameworks (ITIL, COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, etc.)Experience with SOC1, SOC2, IT SOX, and SWIFT control testing programsStrong attention to detail with an analytical mind and solid problem-solving skills.Proven interpersonal, communication and project management skills (PMP)Risk or Audit certifications and related qualifications (i.e., CISA, CRISC, CISM, CISSP)Ability to drive change through collaboration and influenceAbility to manage competing priorities effectively and efficientlyAdvanced MS Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio skillsDesired experience in RSA Archer GRC solution,
